We've been using JIRA installed on my company server. I would like to transfer it to the OnDemand instance.
Before doing it I need to make sure there is no issue with my company firewall meaning I would like to test the ondemand access for real with the xxxxx.atlassian.net URL address. Would it be possible to have 2 instances for a while? First one on my company server and a second one in the cloud (I don't care if the data are not synchronized between both instances. It's just a test) For information I already tried to create a JIRA instance in the cloud but as I don't have any payment card number it seems impossible
Thank you very much for your answer
I think the easiest acceptable solution is to find a payment card number - ask manager or a friend maybe?
You'll get free trial and you can just close the account in case you don't need it anymore. If you close it before trial ends there wont be any charge on given card.
The license for instance on your machine doesn't have anything in common with OnDemand licensing. You can try to contact Atlassian via email to check if they could set it up without payment card but it doesn't seem to be a good idea for me.
