TEMPO: Prevent Users to insert backdated Timetracks

Samuel Suther May 7, 2014

Is there a way to prevent users to enter backdated Timetracks?

A User should not be able to insert a Timetrack for yesterday. In this circumstances, he should talk to his teamleader, and he will insert it.

Is it possible to configure this in TEMPO?

Hi Samuel,

this is not possible in the current version of Tempo Timesheets. The shortest timeperiod that you can close in Tempo is a week. You can do this by using the scheduler. By using the weekly setting, you can close the weekly timeperiod for logging. Please take a look at https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO/Tempo+Schedulerfor more information about the Tempo Scheduler.

Kind regards,

Susanne
