Is Structure supported yet for the latest version of Jira or only for the listed suppoerted types: Available for JIRA 6.0 - 6.1.3 ? We are on version 5.2.6 so we definately need to update, just trying to understand if we have to purposely use 6.1.3?

Yes the Structure plugin is available for the latest version of JIRA 6.1.3, however it is not available yet for JIRA 6.2 and currently there is no announcement regarding on when JIRA 6.2 is going to release yet. For now, yes you would need to upgrade to JIRA 6.1.3 if you want to utilize the latest version of Structure plugin which is version 2.5.2
