Start/Stop Progress within a Task

markh August 5, 2012

Hi,

Is there any way that when you use the start/stop process within a task, it calculates the time spent overall within 'process' and adds/places it within the Time Tracking?

OR

Adds it to the overall timing recorded for the task once resolved?

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark, just in case I mention that the Tempo Plugin comes with a Time Tracker:

Altought this is a paid plugin.

Mark, currently JIRA calculates the time spent within the process, but it doesn't automatically add it to the time tracking feature. You can check the time spent within each status that the issue went through in the 'Transitions Summary' tab of the issue (under the 'Activity' section), but you'll have to manually enter the time spent on the time tracking.
