Sourcetree not tracking unity files in a folder

I am using Sourcetree and Github as version control for my Unity project. I've never really used Github or Sourcetree before and I'm running in to a strange problem: my files do not seem to be tracked. I set up the repo on Github, cloned in on my computer with Sourcetree and then dragged the Unity project into the folder in the finder. Should I have added the project some other way? Is there some setting I'm missing?

Seems all fine procedure, all should be working. What exactly you mean by "not tracking"? Maybe you should double check the folders and links you did.
