Send notifications to role depending customized field

We had created notifications scheme based on different groups.

We want you to send emails to certain groups depending on the value of a custom field. For example factory is acustom field which can contain SW or HW: if is choose SW, only the group SW will be notify and the same process with the HW group...Is it possible to perfom it?

What type of customfield is Factory ? If it is a group picker you can add this in the notification .

There might be a better way to do this but If Factory is not a group picker I would convert it into a group picker and Hide other options(show only these options) using Javascript in the field description.

Factory is select list which contains two options SW or HW. Depending which option the user choose, the notificacitions with correspond to a group or another...

Ok , so you can add a new customfield a group picker and make this field hidden/readonly now you need to add javascript in the field description of Factory which will set the value to the new group picker field refer this doc.

You will also need to add this customfield in the notification scheme .
