Removing application link after moving JIRA from one server to another

We used JIRA(trial) on the test server. We migrated to a live server when starter license has been acquired. The trial version had Fisheye(and other things) installed however the live version doesn't have it. During the move all the records pointing to Fisheye remained in place. We thought that by removing the app links we can resolve the problem but it still remains. When accessing issues in the system we have following error message:

This list may be incomplete, as errors occurred whilst retrieving source from linked applications:

Repository KT on XXXXXX failed: The application link with id 'd531083c-7eda-3365-95a9-21780d5c9af6' was not found for instance 'FishEyeInstanceImpl name=XXXX,isCru=true,isCruStandalone=false,url=XXXX,apiUrl=XXXX,charset=<null>,socketTimeout=10000,connectionTimeout=10000,applicationId=d531083c-7eda-3365-95a9-21780d5c9af6,hasBeenInitialised=true '

The problem is probably a move which has not been performed correctly but we don't have idea how we can get rid of this error. Appears on every issue in All tab.

Hi Przemek,

Sometimes the application links are not correctly created, and even removing them via UI, they might be kept on the database. Thus, you can use the following SQL query to identify them:

SELECT PS.id, PS.propertyvalue, PE.propertytype, PE.property_key FROM propertystring AS PS
INNER JOIN propertyentry AS PE
ON PS.id = PE.id WHERE PE.property_key LIKE '%app%'

To remove them please follow what is decribed in this JIRA KB. Just remember to perform a database backup before editing/removing any data in your system.

Best regards,
Lucas Timm
