Is it possible to remove a field from the Custom list under the Configure Fields button and have it displayed by default on the Create Issue screen?
It appears that even when a field is made Required it can still be hidden by the user if he wants to.
We want the Priority field to be visible at all times.
Our version of JIRA is 7.0.10.

each user can define which fields want to appear in screen. BTW, if a field is mandatory and it doesn't appear in the screen user can't create ticket.
Currently there is no way to avoid users to perform that opertion on mandatory fields.
