Question: Does Atlassian have any documentation on doing a load-balanced/multi-server JIRA installation?

I am looking into working on separating our DB layer from the tomcat layer and possibly adding a second Tomcat node to our current installation. Does Atlassian have any docs or whitepapers on how this has been done from other clients/customers?
