Project Template add-on question

On Add-ons there is a functionality I'd like to use that is Project Template. This would be an awsome thing to use, since I have to setup every single project I create (collumns, etc). But I don't quite get what I have to do to create Projects using Project Template. Is there a add-on I should buy? When I choose to create a new Project, nome of the Proects Templates appear on that screen. I've read many forums about it and none of them explains how to choose or change a project to a Project Template. Thanks

Gaia for JIRA could be what you are looking for.

With Gaia for JIRA, you can create a template with a set issues and schemes you want your project to be associated with after it's creation.
