Order of imported Redmine issues

I just imported all issues from a Redmine installation. Unfortunately, in JIRA the issues have been created in wrong order. The most recent issues has key KEY-1, while the oldest issue has key KEY-815.

I would have expected that the issues would be imported in proper order. Is this behavior intended?

This behaviour is not intended. The issues were not sorted in any particular way before import. I have raised an issue for this bug JIM-879.
