On Demand Jira + Confluence - how to make Confluence the system default homepage

Peter Wachtel June 7, 2012

Iam working my way through a new on demand install of both Jira and Confluence.

The system dashboard shows the Jira home page, from whence you can click the wiki tab to go to the Confluence home page.

Is there any way to make the Confluence home page the default view after logon? That is, as a global default.

Hi,

You will need to create an account first by going to https://jira.atlassian.com and clicking the "Sign Up" link.

Thanks,

Does anyone else have an issue access that URL? I'm logged in to the site, but receive a permission violation.

Hi Peter,

Unfortunately, the Jira Dashboard will always default as your homepage for the OnDemand platform. However, we do have a curent improvement request open for this:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/HS-478#comment-335900

Feel free to update the request with your feedback, and votes.

Thanks,

Gary
