Is there a configurable timeout setting somewhere that impacts the Office Connector? We have a user who gets an UPLOAD FAILED message in Excel if he leaves the file open for more than about ten minutes. If he just quickly edits his spreadsheet and saves back to Confluence there is no problem.
We have the exact same problem with no resolution in sight. Atlassian suggested us to check out this link, so far, to no avail (it might help you, though?): https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Office+Connector+Limitations+and+Known+Issues#OfficeConnectorLimitationsandKnownIssues-Prerequisites. We are using Confluence v. 5.5.2 with Office Connector v. 3.3.4
