I wonder if it is possible to perform an integration of OTRS with JIRA using API features because I use the ondemand version of Jira and I need to create an integration of the two tools, where a ticket is termed as bug should open a ticket in Jira.
There is this possibility?

You have to check if the available REST Functions of the JIRA API are suitable. For more details, check https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/latest/
Basically, you need to have some webhook on your OTRS to fire up a create issue rest call. :)
