ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified

I have setup tnsnames,listener, local listener.. from unix I could connect from one database to another databse fine..

from window connecting to database I am getting ora-12154..

any help would be appriciated..

You are using the wrong settings, or the windows machine is not configured to use Oracle TNS correctly.
