No Tool Bar in issue navigator page

hello everyone:

I am trying to configure issue navigator to display more columns.

I read this link: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Customising+your+Issue+Navigator#CustomisingyourIssueNavigator-configuringnavigatorcolumns

On my issue navigator page there was no tool bar displayed in top left of the page.

I loggined in as administrator. My JIRA version is: 5.0.2

Please give me some suggestion on how to add tool bar to the issue navitagor page. ()

you will only see the "Tools" in the upper right, after you have executed a query, and only if you have at least 1 issue turned in your query results. Have you done that?
