Newbie question on validators in workflows - Jira 6.3

I have the workflow : To do -> In progress -> Done

There is a transition : 'Start progress' to go from 'To-do' to 'In-progress'

I want to add a validator to this transition that the fields Priority and Story points must be populated .

How do I do this?

When I click on 'Add validator' I see three types of validator : Complete Session Validator, User Permission Validator, Permission Validator.

None of these helps me to add the validator I want.

Please advise.

This plugin provides very good post-functions and validators. One of them is to make the fields required on a transition, which is what you want.

I would suggest you to install this plugin.
