Hi,
Im trying the "Content Survey and Reporting" plugin in a stagging environment ... the goal is use it in our KB spaces. But there are problems with the kbsurvey macro: in the insert macro menu, when selecting the macro confluence shows an "Error rendering macro kbsurvey".
Meanwhile the logs are spitting:
2013-07-18 12:18:07,070 ERROR [http-y-6] [xhtml.view.macro.ViewMacroMarshaller] marshal Error rendering macro: kbsurvey -- url: /rest/tinymce/1/macro/preview | userName: xyz | referer: http://x.x.x.x:y/pages/editpage.action?pageId=25659179 java.lang.NullPointerException at com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.knowledgebase.survey.KbSurveyMacro.execute(KbSurveyMacro.java:81) at com.atlassian.renderer.v2.macro.ResourceAwareMacroDecorator.execute(ResourceAwareMacroDecorator.java:51) at com.atlassian.confluence.macro.V2CompatibilityMacro.execute(V2CompatibilityMacro.java:40) at com.atlassian.confluence.macro.LazyLoadingMacroWrapper.execute(LazyLoadingMacroWrapper.java:27) at com.atlassian.confluence.content.render.xhtml.view.macro.ViewMacroMarshaller.marshal(ViewMacroMarshaller.java:88) at com.atlassian.confluence.content.render.xhtml.view.macro.ViewMacroMarshaller.marshal(ViewMacroMarshaller.java:24) at com.atlassian.confluence.content.render.xhtml.DefaultXhtmlContent.convertMacroDefinitionToView(DefaultXhtmlContent.java:153) at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor1814.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)
There is no documentation in the plugin page, https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/confluence.plugins.knowledgebase.survey
Any clue on whats happening? or any alternative plugin to enable users voting and rating on our KB space?
Thanks.
Same problem with Confluence 5.1.3 and JDK 1.6.0_31
Confluence 5.1.2
Sun JDK 1.7.0_15

Hi Alex,
I'm trying to recreate this (as we use this plugin internally :) )
I'll need:
Your confluence version
Your JDK Version
-N
