Upon importing the backup data

Import failed. Check your server logs for more information. com.atlassian.confluence.importexport.ImportExportException: Unable to complete import: Error while importing backup: not-null property references a null or transient value: com.atlassian.confluence.like.LikeEntity.content

I attempted to use dbvis, but after modifications confluence would error out. So I directly modified the hsqldb and removed all inserts that referred to the LIKES table.

The error logs state that there is a null entry in the table. Check the DB for the null value (I m not sure, but just check with the content table)and remove it and redo the XML import. Refer this link and alos you can find the Confluence Database Scheme details here
