Look and feel header text color can not be changed - white background is a problem

We need the header background color to be white. This renders the three drop-down menus at the top invisible until one mouses over them. None of the settings in the look and feel affect the text color of these items.

They seem to be affected by #studio-header .ajs-menu-bar li.ajs-menu-item a.ajs-menu-title in navbar.css line 55.

This sounds like an infamous bug in the header section; you might want to take a look at https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/JST-5816.
