After downloading the new version, trying to push or pull from any of my Github accounts repeatedly asks for my password, and never completes the operation. My colleague had the same issue - we downgraded to 22.214.171.124 and the issue was fixed.
Just fyi... not sure if this is related, but I just installed Sourcetree 126.96.36.199 (first time user) and was unable to authenticate to GitHub using the Setup Wizard. I enter the correct GitHub username/password (and I verified that they're accurate), but it will not authenticate. It keeps complaining that I've entered the wrong credentials.
Not a helpful comment, I know. I just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one. I'm going to try to find version 188.8.131.52 which will hopefully get past the issue, as you indicated in your post.
