JIRA version history

Hi All

I am currently running JIRA v6.4.12 on my data center.I want to upgrade it to 7.2.8.

But before that i want check all major bug fixes between the v6.4.12 to 7.2.8

But i am not able to get any JIRA release notes after 6.4.14

So my question is after 6.4.14,JIRA releases its 7.X versions?

Hi Mukul,

6.4.14 is the latest version of JIRA 6.4, see the release notes here.

After 6.4.x, Atlassian started with JIRA 7.X, you can get the release notes for JIRA Core here and for JIRA Software here.

Is there any specific reason why you update to 7.2.8 and not to the latest JIRA 7.3.4?

We just planned to upgrade jira v6.4.12 to v7.2.8.

So now JIRA v7.2.8 is  bunddled with jira Agile but what about JIRA service desk?

which version of JIRA service desk is available and how we can install it?
