What is the plugin to connect JIRA to Jenkins?

Which version of JIRA do we need to be on in order for this to work smoothly?

I've been searching the websites for success and struggles with this integration. There seems to be a an overwhelming amount of good and bad experiences. So now to filter out what's factual is the challenge right now.

u can use jira hudson plugin version 5.04 to jira 5.0 above
