JIRA SSO login unable to work after upgrade from 4.2 to 5.3

Pangianto Pang July 29, 2012

Hi all,

I have the SSOauthenticator.class and modified seraph-config.xml file on Jira 4.2 to enable the SSO login for our company which is providing the SSO login. It were working after i have upgraded the Jira to 5.3.

i noticed that in the Jira 5.3 seraph-config.xml file has been removed this line:

<interceptor class="com.atlassian.jira.portal.PortalPageInterceptor"/>

The rest of the config.xml file are the same as used in our Jira 4.2. So i suspect the class file has been removed due to the Jira release update. where to find this class file? how to get it working again?

Please help me out to get it work. Thanks a lot.

I would like to recommend you to review the page about [https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWD/Integrating+Crowd+with+Atlassian+JIRA#IntegratingCrowdwithAtlassianJIRA-2.2ConfigureJIRAtouseCrowd'sAuthenticatortoenableSSO(Optional)] since the SSO implementation is different between version of JIRA.

Hope this help.
