JEMH not using my custom templates (always defaults)

I don't seem to be able to let JEMH use my custom email templates for JIRA as wel as non-JIRA users. I want every notification to be send through JEMH for easy editing of templates ...

Its also my guess you will not actually want to publish your configuration files here, so I removed them (maybe).

Pasting my answer here for clarity/use of others:

There are two ways JEMH can notify users of issue creation:

As a result there are two places where templates can be selected for each of these mechanisms. The Event Listener is for all non-create events, you have in your profile the second method that is doing the create notification:

  • Notification > Notify Users on Issue creation : ALL

The location of the template for this is:

  • Email > Templates > Issue Created TemplateSet

Note that the template must be of type ISSUE_CREATED, custom events will not match.
