A migration done from Installed Jira to Ondemand Jira. But attachments are missing. only references are there. Without knowing about this we started using the new system. One project highly affected by this. Is there a way to get a backup of a particular project with all images

When creating the backup on your local installation you should have the option to include attachments. If you have not done this, you might still be able to get the attachments over to your OnDemand instance. First you will need to finf the attachments folder in the home directory of your local installation. Then, raise a support ticket at support.atlassian.com
Depending on the size of your attachment archive, different methods might be needed to transfer the data, just ensure you provide the engineer handling your issue with as much details as possible, and I think it should be possible to get your attachments placed on your OnDemand instance.

Yes, that would be great. above migration we did through a web service. we were using jira hosted by our sister company. we had several projects using that jira instance. according to your answer we must be having separate attachments folder dedicated to our project.. is it? (if it is a common folder for all projects, due to information security, we will not be able to ask)

thanks Mick..

On your locally installed JIRA, you should be able to find your attachments folder under /[your JIRA home directory]/data/attachments/
Under this folder, each individual project on the instance has its own folder containing the attachments.

Hi Mike

we were able to get the attachments folder from installed Jira and raised a ticket at ondemand too.

but the guy we contacted said that we will be loosing what we are currently have in Ondemand after attaching this. so it is bit doughtful to proceed. What we want is, just attach the images to the Jira tsks safly. We need the system as at now as all our information stored in Ondemand(Time info, Bitbucket commit info, team info, workflow info....)
