I am facing an issue of eazyBI consuming too much resources during office hours when users are actively using JIRA. I have tried option disabled_hours in advanced configuration section of the plugin, but users complained that they need import during office hours, but don't mind if it will be slower than usual. Is there any way to limit eazyBI process to consume less server resources either by plugin configuration or any other means?

Thanks.

Hi Sergey,

By default, eazyBI is running inside the same JIRA JVM process and is sharing JVM heap memory and other resources with the JIRA and all other JIRA plugins.

It is possible that a JIRA server stops working because of complicated calculations in eazyBI that take up a lot of memory.
This issue was solved in eazyBI Version 3.4.0, by separating eazyBI processes from JIRA, with a child-process feature. This can still execute slowly for very complex or sub-optimal calculations, but it won’t impact JIRA.

You could try enabling child process if you haven't already done it https://docs.eazybi.com/display/EAZYBIJIRA/Child+process
