Is there any way to keep an item from being added to a Sprint before the Story Point field is filled in?

I'd like to enforce that stories do not get added to sprints before the estimation is filled in to make sure that the item has been looked at by developers before it gets added to the sprint.

Not a great solution, it would be nice if this was something you could configure in JIRA Agile.

One of the options that I can think of is to add the Story Points to the Default Screen and make it mandatory in the Field Configuration. However, the only downside to this is that the moment the issue must have the Story Points the moment it is created. Let me know your thoughts about this.
