Is there a way to see the subtasks in the greenhopper rapid board planning mode?

our team uses subtasks to outline parts of a project, and we cant currently see them in the Rapid Boar view during planning.

The subtasks Story points do not also add up automatically for the parent task.

Hi Gayathri,

The sub-tasks are not displayed on the backlog, but if you click on an issue that contains sub-tasks on the Plan mode, on the Detail view (right side of the screen) the sub-tasks will be displayed.

Hi Gayathri,

In addition, as for the sub-tasks story points on the parent task, it is not possible to display them. Please refer to Shaun Clowes comment:

The subtasks are not expected to show up in the backlog itself as they are not primary backlog items.

The estimate that you see is the Original Estimate of the story. This is useful because team velocity is usually calculated based on original estimates at the story level (if you use sub-task level it is impossible to estimate how long portions of the backlog will take to execute if you have not broken them down to sub-tasks)

On GHS-5269.

Cheers,

Clarissa.
