This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Chat in rooms
This would be very nice when you need to redirect a discussion to another room. E.g. a discussion is going out of topic and you want a simple way to point to either a new room or another existing room. In Slack this is accomplished by prepending the name with a pound-sign, like #newroom. This becomes a link the users just have to click to move to the new room! Super-simple
Hi @Svante Gustafsson,
You can use crafted URLs to launch the web chat client directly into a room like this:
https://example.hipchat.com/chat/room/ExampleRoomName
or, for HipChat Server:
https://hipchat.example.com/chat/room/ExampleRoomName
There is no anchor notation for the native chat clients however.
Hopefully this mess is gone in Stride.
It might already have it, (I wont even download it until they finish dark mode).
