Is it possible to have queues in JIRA Service Desk that cover multiple projects?

o l April 18, 2016

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Using service desk queues

I'm trying to work through our hierarchy. I'm planning to set up each customer as a project.

However, this would surely mean that our guys would have to manage multiple queues (15+) which would surely become unmanageable?

I'm sure there is a way around this, but I can't work it out.

Any help much appreciated!

Since queues are based on criteria, and is technically a JQL, you'll need to find a compromise within your search query that shows the intended issues for the queue.

Hi Timothy,

Thanks for your response. Based on what you said above, I tried to set up queues based on a JQL query that referred to issues from other projects. Although the query was correct, no issues were returned.

Please can you confirm whether or not it is possible to show issues from other projects inside another project's queue?

Thank you
