We are plaaning to upgrade to service pack level SQL 2008 SP3. We need to make sure there is no compatibility issue or anything like that.

It's not yet officially on the supoprted platforms list yet but it should probably be ok. Which products are you using?

Confluence lists 2008 SP2 https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Supported+Platforms

Jira doesn't list SP levels https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Supported+Platforms

best go through http://support.atlassian.com if you want it to be official

Hi Thomas,

There's currently no known issues with any of Atlassian products regarding SQL 2008 SP3.

Nonetheless, I'd advise you to always first try updates on a testing environment whenever possible.

Hope this helps,

Marcus Silveira
