Intermittent very slow performance.

Getting couple of exceptions too:

Were you trying to compare page versions when you encountered the slow performance? If yes, increasing the timeout value might help with this task: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Comparing+Page+Versions+Fails+Due+to+Timeout+Exceeded

I cant offer an answer, but I would say perhaps you have a DNS issue, or at least, a broken mailbox config, is your mailserver really 'no.mailhost.adobe.com'?
