Install Plugins and others questions

in .atlassian.net i can't see some steps in docs to install plugins

(for example: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/de.polscheit.jira.plugins.gantt)

how i can do it?

we have a problem to install jira in remote host. local is the better option to install?

Hi Henrique,

From your URL, (atlassian.net), I suspect you are an OnDemand customer and this would explain why you are unable to install plugins. If you are indeed an OnDemand customer then please see this document for further explanation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Atlassian+OnDemand+Plugin+Policy

So, in the event that you wish to install plugins you will need to install a local instance of JIRA as you have suggested.

I'm not sure what the question really is here, but can you try going into your Jira as an administrator, going to the "plugins" section and checkin that you get the option to search the marketplace, list the currently installed plugins and so on?

Check https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+JIRA's+Plugins to see the details there.

Assuming you can see the plugin managers, then the next step is to look for and try to install the plugin.

As for whether remote or local is better, that depends on what you need from it.

thanks Nic, but this is a exactly the problem, i can't see these steps, form example, have not install plugin or upload plugin in steps/menu

i'm login with administrator

we will use jira to delegate and monitor activities to employees

John answered it - you didn't say you were using OnDemand, otherwise I'd have said what he did.
