I can't create a Jira software project

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Starting a new project

Hi,

I'm trying to create a JIRA software project and I only see the JIRA business types as options in the create wizards.

I have installed a clean JIRA software and migrated the data from an existing JIRA 6.2.2+Agile, using the import/export features of Jira.

Also, all the 6.2.2 projects that used the Agile board have no Agile board in the new Agile software install

Can someone help me figure out what happened here?

Many thanks beforehand & regards!

Hello Team,
If you navigate through: JIRA Administration > Applications, are you able to see JIRA for Software (JIRA Agile)? Case so, is it well set with its license?

Hi Paulo,

It was indeed a licensing issue!

We did this migration on a test server and we did not care to create an evaluation license.

We did so and the Agile board is now back.

Thanks a lot,

Regards,

Alexandre
