I am trying to import something to Jira, however though i mention the Issue type as Epic and Story respectively, it always import it as a Bug, and below is the error.

Is it possible that the issue type doesn't exist? Perhaps it's not in the project's Issue Type Scheme?

Can you give us a sample of your import, specifically the part where you indicate type?

How are you doing the import? csv, project importer, or...? 

The error indicates that you aren't entering in the correct issue type ID.
