How to quickly move multiple issues to another project version?

Rich Coleman April 24, 2012

Once we determine a release is going to happen, we have to move all the resolved issues in our version labeled vNEXT to the actual version numbered version (i.e. v4.6.4.0) We sometimes have hundreds of these to move.

So, is there a simple/quick way to move multiple issues from one version to another?

Ramiro's answer is correct, but there may be another way for your specific situation. Why don't you just rename vNEXT to the release number you want and create a new vNEXT. This eliminates any unnecessary change history for all the issues.

Hi Rich, yes there is I believe. You can go to the Issue Navigator, create a filter to show all the issues you want to modify, and then press the 'Tools' button in the upper part of the page. There you have the 'Bulk Change' property.

Hope this helps!
