How to import issues using a csv file with Jira OnDemand

Stefan Norinder October 24, 2012

It took me about an hour to realize that the import/export stuff is a plugin in the latter versions of Jira.

It took me another hour to realize that I can't install plugins because we have Jira OnDemand and don't host it ourself.

So the question remains; is there a way to import issues using a csv file with Jira OnDemand?

JIRA OnDemand has JIRA Importers Plugin installed.

Here's a documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Importing+Issues

If you have any problems importing issues to OnDemand please contact https://support.atlassian.com

If your use case doesn't match the capabilities of the importers plugin, runFromCsv from JIRA Command Line Interface can sometimes help.
