How do I configure what fields appear in my list view

default view shows issues organized by Project Key and Summary field. I wanted to switch the summary field to another custom field. how do I configure this?

You don't.  Summary is one of the two fields in JIRA that are essential to issue tracking and hence it's not replacable (and there's no benefit to replacing it either)
