How can we fix this from the cloud version?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Epic panel is empty and Epic is listed in the Backlog

How can we fix this from the cloud version?

You shouldn't be able to get into this state on Cloud, as long as you haven't deleted the default Epic issue type.

It needs a support call to fix it really - raise it at https://support.atlassian.com
