How can I remove recent activity items from a profile?

I would like to remove items from the recent activity stream of a user (or of the system). Is this possible? Do I need to massage a table manually?

Hi,

you could go to "Administration -> Plugins -> Manage Plugins -> System-Plugins" and deactivate the "JIRA Activity Stream Plugin". But unfortunatly this Plugin is used for the whole System (Dashboard, User & Projects).

We're also looking for a Option to deactivate the recent activity stream of a user.
