Hide orphaned pages from view in refinedwiki

Nikita Yardi May 18, 2015

I've 'hidden' some images/text in pages that are children of an orphaned page - to be used as includes into unorphaned pages.

This allows me to protect those pages from being casually viewed, but still allows for the excerpt to be included into a page (as adjusting viewing permissions on a page would stop the include from working!)

Now these orphaned pages are hidden from view in the Default theme, but as soon as I switch the theme to refinedwiki, these pages start showing up. How can I achieve the same 'hidden' page functionality in refinedwiki theme?

Hi Nikita,

You need to update the page tree macro in your global space layout. Go to: Config > Theme configuration > Global Space Layout.

Edit the page tree macro and set the root parameter to @home. http://demo.refinedwiki.com/display/rwot/Page+Tree+Macro

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Cheers, Emil
