HTML links pasted into the Rich Text Editor are getting transformed/mangled (See examples below). This only appears to be an issue in IE (I'm using IE 8). It appears it's trying to convert it to a Wiki Link by wrapping the URL in brackets (???). Either way, it appears to be buggy.
BEFORE:
{html} <A HREF="http://www.atalassian.com">TEST</A> {html}
AFTER:
{html} <A HREF="[http://www.atalassian.com">TEST</A|http://www.atalassian.com%22%3etest%3c/A]> {html}
Steps to Repeat: Using IE...
1. Load the Editor for a specific page.
2. Select the Rich Text tab.
3. Copy/Paste the following onto the page...
{html} <A HREF="http://www.atalassian.com">TEST</A> {html}
4. Switch to the Wiki Markup tab view.
RESULT: The html is transformed to the following:
{html} <A HREF="[http://www.atalassian.com">TEST</A|http://www.atalassian.com%22%3etest%3c/A]> {html}
Hi,
This is most likely due to the round-tripping bug that has been resolved in Confluence 4.0 editor.
Details here:

Hi,
I tried to test this on a fresh install of Confluence 3.5.7 but was unable to reproduce it with Internet Explorer.
Regards,
Peter

Hey Peter - We're using Confluence 3.5.16 and HTML Plugin 3.2.1. I'll try installing a newer version of the plugin on our sandbox instance and get back to you with the results... I probably won't be able to get to it until later this week though.
Thanks for your response!
