We purshaed ondemand JIRA & Greenhopper recently. I am trying to setup my project on Greenhopper ( Agile). Need some clarification

Reading through some documentation and answer board Atlassian is focusing more on Kanban than Scrum? is this a right statment ?.

I see two templates one "Default" and Scrum. i don't see Kanban. is "Default"= "Kanban" ? please clarify.

i have create few issues of type "Task" can this be viewed on Agile rapid board ? or does all issues need tobe of type " Story" to view on the rapid board ?

Greetings!

Since there are differences between Kanban and Scrum, we provide the distinction and allow the customer to make the determination based on business requirements.

From our documentation:

GreenHopper has two primary modes, Kanban for constraint-based task management, and Scrum for iteration planning. If you're not sure which one is right for your needs you can check out the learning links we've provided.

Rapid boards can leverage all issue types - although Kanban boards do not levege Epics so the question depends on which approach you take.

The following document details both options as well as common scenarios that essentially serves as a good tutorial:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Creating+a+Board

Finally, I am including general centralized Greenhooper documentation if interested:

I hope this response was helpful and allows you to proceed.

Cheers,
