GreenHopper is currently unavailable. After restoring backup database.

Dan Shebunin February 16, 2013

I tried to import my local JIRA+GreenHopper backup to this JIRA OnDemand instance:

# Copied backup.zip via WebDAV to the server.

# Tried to import, but received an error message saying, that Active Direcory is active and should be deactivated.

# Changed active attribute from 1 to 0 and rerfeshed backup.zip on the server

# Tried to import again. This time without error messages.

After import procedure I have JIRA OnDemand accessible with all my issue and project data seems to be ok, but no GreenHopper available and a banner at the top of the page:

GreenHopper is currently unavailable. This might be because an upgrade task has failed to run or has not not yet completed.

Please contact your system administrator if you continue to see this message.

I received a support responce: this is due to difference between my local GreenHopper version and OnDemand version. Local is more fresh. So, I should wait when OnDemand will be upgraded also.

So, be careful and check plugins version compatibilities if you import your local data to OnDemand server.
