Features inserted into the backlog while on the Planning view exhibits new behavior.

Troy Johnson March 12, 2013

We recently upgraded to the latest version of Greenhopper (v6.1.3.2) and noticed that when you create a new issue from the Plan view that the new issue will be inserted at the end of the backlog unless one of the issues in the backlog is highlighted. If there is an issue highlighted, the newly created feature will end up after the highlighted feature in the backlog. Is this intended behavior? If it is, is there a way to always force new issues to always go to the bottom of the backlog regardless of whether or not there is a highlighted issues.

It seems that this is not possible. Please make sure that you are not in plan mode. When you are in work mode then the new issue is placed at the bottom of your backlog.
