After I export to pdf and then convert the pdf to Word, all the styles are gone and everything is "Normal." This prevents me from tinkering with the doc and then recreating a TOC.
I have only tried to convert pdf to images with the help of some toolkts. You can also google it and select one whose way of processing is simple and fast to help you export to pdf and then convert the pdf to Word.
