Hi All,
we experiencing recently that many notifications don't get to the recipients. Some lost emails are custom events, others are standard events.
My first question: where van we check the outgoing emails?
2nd: how can we prove that the problem is not Jira problem but email server?

Hi,
You can check the Outgoing mail logs in <JIRA_HOME>/log/atlassian-jira-outgoing-mail to check if the notification email are being sent or if there is any error logged. You can check in the mail queue as well if there is any in the error queue.

Are you sure its not JIRA problem ? I found an old documentation for troubleshooting notification related problems here
