ETA on support for Release planning, release burndown chart, etc?

We're new to using GH, are using OD and do not see any aid in long-term planning. What I'd LOVE is to simply be able to view my estimated backlog as future iterations (and date ranges) based on the calculated average velocity. A competitor tool I used previously does this well.

Moreso, I need a release burndown chart. A chart just like sprint burndown but showing the scope of all stories slotted for future sprints plotted over time.

Any ETA for some of these features?

Coming soon, coming soon :). Checkout the GH public board -

You can watch the progress of the issues in that board.

The link you posted generates an error when I login with a basic account. Is there an updated link or do I need special permissions to see this board?

Is there a place I can go to see when these features are planned to be GA?

Try the Great Gadgets add-on for JIRA cloud ( It offers a Release Burnup Burndown Chart gadget that is based on a JIRA filter. Put in that filter the issues from your project scope and group data by your sprint duration and you will have the burndown chart. Calculation is done by Story Points field.
