Does HipChat requires separate hosting to use it with JIRA OnDemand?

People in my project wanted to try HipChat, but we are OnDemand customers.

This means I should get a hosting, install there the HipChat myself, and then integrate JIRA with it. Am I correct here?

What are the easiest way for OnDemand users to try HipChat in their project(s)?

Hi HipChat doesn't require a server. It's a hosted solution just like OnDemand. You just have to sign up and pay.

This means I should go to https://www.hipchat.com/

Sign Up, and then do the integration? https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/40379/jira-and-hipchat

Correct?

Yes, post back if you have further problems.
